Why RF 4DAT exists
RF 4DAT turns your phone into a simple RF awareness tool. Scan the radio signals around you and see them in clear, calm screens, so you can understand the signals in your own space.
The 4DAT way
Every 4DAT app is built on the same few rules. Here is how RF 4DAT follows them:
- Your information stays on your device. Your scan history, place labels, and exports stay on your phone, and location is used only on the device. On Android, anything leaves only if you turn on sync or community sharing, and both start off.
- An account is optional. No account needed. On Android you can sign in with Google if you want to back up and sync your history. The iOS app has no sign-in.
- We keep only what a feature needs. If you sign in on Android, Google's Firebase holds your email address and a user ID, plus your synced history if you turn sync on. Delete it all any time from Settings. See the Privacy Policy.
- No ads and no tracking of you. No ads, no analytics, and no tracking SDKs in the app. The gear guide pages count views and link clicks anonymously, with no cookies and no IDs.
- Supported honestly. Scanning is free. RF 4DAT Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks scheduled scans, Trends, and CSV export. The Protect guide links to gear on Amazon: As an Amazon Associate, RF 4DAT earns from qualifying purchases.
About the founder
RF 4DAT is built by Frank Castle, founder of 4DAT LLC in Florida. Frank is an engineer who has spent his career on systems that have to work when it counts. 4DAT is how he builds everyday tools: simple, private, and yours.
